The Red Herring Post 3... Misty Water Colored Memories part 1

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry. Per usual, I have been procrastination in posts. However, in my defense finals time has started at my university, so I've had to hit the books- awful I know! I promise to pick up posting after the 15th (summertime anyone?). Lets move on to the topic of todays post... scrap booking. No southern woman would be complete without her bookcases filled with sticker covered photos and die-cut letters. Since I'm new to the Southern culture, I figured "What the heck?" and took a trip to my local Michael's... where I found my life calling. No sadly it was not located next to a prestigious law firm or one of the big four accounting firms. Something about being inside Michael's looking down the rows of stickers is so soothing. And while it may not be some pricy massage or dinner for two at an extravagant Wolfgang restaurant, I'll take my Michael's treatment any day of the week. You know the scene where Holy Golightly walks by Tiffany's, croissant in hand and you can just see all of her problems melting away at the sight of the beautiful jewels. Well I may have been in my post-workout gear, but all the stress from my upcoming finance exam disappeared. What can I say? Holly Golightly had her diamonds, I have my craft supplies. I suppose if nothing else, I will be a much cheaper date!
I must go to bed, so I will update you on rest of my scrap booking adventures later this week. It may not live up to the epic tales of Homer, but I promise I will learn how to upload pictures- apparently that's what all the hipster bloggers do!

I'm Jherring, and this is My Red Herring
